The artists Tryggvi Ólafsson is one of Iceland’s best-known contemporary artists. Born in 1940 at Norðfjordur in Fjarðabyggd, he studied at the The Icelandic College of Art and Crafts from 1960 to 1961 and at the Royal Art Academy in Copenhagen from 1961 to 1966. The exhibition features his life’s work.
