The Pharmacy Museum has charming exhibitions displaying the history of pharmacy in the 20th century. The Herbal Garden of Nes is a medicinal and culinary garden communicating the history of herbal medicine. The museum and the garden are located in Seltjarnarnes, close to a beautiful nature reserve and recreation area on the tip of the Reykjavík peninsula. They are located close to Nesstofa, which was built in 1761-1767 as the official residence of Iceland’s first medical doctor and pharmacist.
