Seaman’s Garden in Hellissandur

In the Seaman’s Garden in Hellissandur are preserved two row ships, called Bliki and Ólafur Skagfjörð. Bliki built by Sæmundur Sigurðsson, shipbuilder, Geitareyjum for Jón Jónsson, farmer in Akurey in Helgafellsveit, in 1826. Bliki is the oldest fishing boat preserved in Iceland.
