The Ásgrímur Jónsson Collection is a special division of the National Gallery of Iceland. Ásgrímur Jónsson’s (1876–1958) is one of the pioneers of Icelandic art. The museum is situated in Ásgrímur’s former home and studio, and hosts all his works and belongings which he bequeathed to the people of Iceland.
